went to a job interview todayy all went well for a car dealership...for sales... they sent me for a drug test .. he asked me before i left will you be able to pass ...I replied yes assuming it was a urine test WRONG it was a hair test!!!!! ok so I smoke pot occasionally and I did some coke about 2 months ago... I know its gonna show up (if im wrong let me know) also im on perscription vicoden and xanax I did tell him about the perscribed drugs he had no problem with that Im not a frequent user ....should I go to him first thing tmw morn and explain to him the situation before he waste the money on the test?? or just wait to see what he says its not like thyre gonna find huge amounts of coke?? but I still feel maybe I should be honest and try to save this job???

I used to hire folks all the time and we went through this same drill. It really pissed me off when I would tell people that they would be tested and we could not hire them if they failed the test, then they would take the test, waste my money, and fail.

Telling him won't make a difference. Either they test for drugs or they don't. They can't just side step the drug test. So if you think there is a chance you might pass the test then go for it. Otherwise save everyone some time and money and don't show up for the drug test.

yes they will because they've styled hair and it kind of shows the back/side of the head and it doesnt seem like its a complicated back for hair.

by looking at the picture the hair dress/stylist will most likely be able to get the idea of the hair and complete the style. You should bring a couple different picture of this person if possible to make it easyer for the hair dresser to get the look you want.

A good way to get a good haircut is to keep your eyes peeled for a good haircut on someone out in public. First compliment them on their hair and ask where they get it cut and who does it. That always has worked for me anyplace I have ever lived or been. I recommend it for anyone who has a good eye for a good haircut. Another good question to ask is if they are a regular or if it is the first cut they got from that particular hairdresser.

The first original picture of you is best. You want to be comfortable and the best way that is possible is to be yourself. Your a hot girl and you dont need anything else to tell you different, expecially the media and the celebs. Prom is fun, you dont need to be the prettiest even tho you are very pretty, you should just have fun and dance and make it a night to remember. Dress in something comfortable and keep your hair the way it is and your makeup the same. Maybe be more flirty or interactive with everyone so they remember you also but not for your looks but for your personality.

What a gorgeous dress! I think you should def. curl your hair, curls would look amazing on you. You're really pretty so you don't need much make up. Your skin looks okay, but you be the judge if you need a bit of concealer for dark spots under the eyes, etc. I suggest you go for a nice clean look, nothing too heavy since you'll look older if you do.

The hairstyle you picked is pretty and will look good with your face shape. Maybe put some serum or mousse to make the curls maintain their shape all throughout the night.

Use light colored make-up, maybe a bit of smoky eyes for drama (it's night time anyway!) and nice glossy lip color to contrast. Do NOT match your eyeshadow with your dress, contrast it!

you dont even need make up but hey its a prom...put some make up on maybe something dark kinda like smoky for a dramatic look (eye shadow)....with eye liners to make your eyes stand out...your dress is kinda brownish right? i like pic num 3 in the option num 6 you gave...for the hair both will suit you and the dress but i like the first one and not PH's but the first one looks too ordinary nothing special so i guess PH's will do a difference...

Sit him down and talk to him. Let him know that is feelings are important and that you really do care about what is important to you. Something like armpit hair is very petty. Is not the real argument. He may have been having feelings like this for awhile. It may not have from you or concerning you but usually a blow up like this has a root. Have a conversation with him. If you are not comfortable with the hair then tell him. I don't believe the hair is the problem. What he said is the key to what is going on. So talk to him and cater to his needs a little. It really isn't that serious. Some cultures like the hairy arm pits on a woman. No one but you %26amp; your husband will even know it's there... Unless you decide to wear something that reveals your pits. Make a compromise with him. You will shave when it's hot (such as Summer time), but you will grow it back for the winter. As for someone saying something about your personal hygeine... As long as you wear deoderant, your hygeine will be just fine. Wow...that is a very tricky situation. You can't wear spaghetti straps or anything feminine with that under your arms...but you also have a man who..frankly has an opinion about something he likes. I have heard that the French use this tuft of hair during that time of the month...if that is the case..then he needs to be able to "hold out" for a couple of days. If not and he has this odd obsession with arm pit hair then you really need to find out WHY! It is your body and you have to be comfortable to. If you two have a great relationship like you say.....then there should be a way to come to an agreement that suits both of you. He isn't willing to hear your side and is only thinking of what he likes...but that isn't fair at all...no matter how much in love you are...compromise is the key to any and all issues. He has partialism (like a fetish). It is what attracts him to you. His feelings are not hurt, his libido is. My husband has a couple of fetishes, but none of them have to do with how my body looks. Evelyn is right. When you try to dye darker on top of blond, it tends to fade quickly. I also agree though that it looks pretty good though, not so much like roots, more like sun kissed hair instead. My hair is doing the same thing, but it looks good especially this time of year when summer is fading.

The same thing happened to me. The hairdresser didn't do anything wrong, thats just what happens when you color over previously lightened hair, it will eventually show through.

Call your hairdresser back and tell him/her that your old color is already showing through, and tell him/her that you want a "filler" put into your hair. They put it in your hair before they color it and it helps the new color last MUCH MUCH longer.

Another suggestion, you might want to try going a little bit darker than the color you want.

I'm a colorist and I'm here to help you.....

First the reason that it fades... When we lighten hair we do it by removing pigments from the hair shaft. Color in your hair shaft is made of color molecules to lighten your hair we remove them until we have reached the desired color.

Second when we darken hair we deposit color molecules INTO the hair shaft these molecules cling to the others in your hair shaft.

Now when we color over hair that has been lighten sometime there is not enough color molecules for the color we are putting in to cling to, so they wash out fast because there is nothing for them to hold onto. When this happen we love to get that call from you telling us, that way we can get you in right away and get more color on there. It allows the color to have more color to "grab" on to. We can also use a "filler" to help give the color something to stick to. Call the salon that did your tint back and tell them. Trust me you did nothing wrong and neither did your stylist. -What kind of shampoo do I use?

-What kind of dye did the salon use?

If the salonist used temporary or semi-permanent dye this may be the problem; also use a shampoo that is specifically for colored hair. Sometimes when you are going from one end to another this may happen. I naturally have black hair and then dyed my hair chocolate brown with blonde highlights, and then I went lighter afterwards; recently I wanted to go to dark brown and went to the salon for a permanent dye. After paying $220 bucks to get it done, I started to see the highlights again with a green hue. I had to go back and get it done again (that was four months ago) and I have not had any problems since. Just make sure that they use a permanent dye.

I am a hairdresser since 1989. I have also been an educator for a major color line. It is natural for fading to occur over highlighted hair. There are a few things you can do. Ask your stylist if the color line she uses has a maintenance program for you to take home, such as colored shampoos (with your color added to the bottle) toning foams for at home use and color sealing conditioners. Please don't use Suave, Pantene or Herbal Essence. You just invested money in yourself and if you are using any of these you are just washing it down the drain. The fading should stop after the next time or two. If she didn't fill the blonde hair before applying the color that is why it is fading now. Therefore the next time you have it colored this color will act as a filler.

I have hair that is in actuality to the middle of my back in length but you cannot tell because it is extremely curly (spiral) and that is natural. Plus I live in Texas where there is high humidity. So my hair only looks to be at shoulder length.

I have bangs on top that I blow dry straight but the rest of it is one length. I am tired of this much body and someone suggested layering. I am not sure if this is the correct term because layering may actually make my hair MORE full and this is not at all what I want. I want my length to show. Please tell me if what I am thinking is a good idea or otherwise what you would suggest. Hi. I have light-medium brown hair and right now I have like darker caramel highlights (they are golden blonde but dark golden blonde, so like honey highlights?) I like them...but they are several months old now...Well I would like to enhance that now just a bit more since they turned out so successful...I was thinking getting fillers since they are cheaper than say doing them a different shade. To enhance it, I would like to add more highlights UNDERNEATH so when I pull it up with a headband, the gold will show through and I could look "blonde for a day". Maybe a lighter shade of caramel though, to look even lighter blonde...what do you think? Oh, and I have like a Medium skin tone, but it is tanned and cool only lightening my hair, to balance my look, will do, so please do not suggest lowlights or darkening.

I have almost the same. Four years ago I dyed my hair back from lots of gray, to medium brown. I then, went to blonde highlights, that eventually lead to adding caramel lowlights. I love the combination. Today, I get both as an all over and no longer need to do a all over color. As my hair stylist put it, all over highlights and the lowlights makes hair pretty when up or down. So, my suggestion is the combination of low and keep the caramel, add highlights. My hair looks dark blonde now. I get lots of compliments from women and men think it's natural.

That's actually alot easier than it looks. =)

(faster and easier than straightening)

First off, show those pics to your stylist and have them cut you hair that way. (It looks like long layers with long bangs, but best to bring the pic).

Once you get the cut, if your hair is naturally wavy or curly, you might be able to just moouse it when wet and straighten (blowdry) the bangs. If you don't like the way that turns out, then do the following...

Wash, and then add a conditioning cream to your hair (sunsilk "de frizz" in the green bottle is great for that), then blowdry hair straight. Next roll all of your hair with thick hot rollers. Then run your fingers through your hair. (For the bangs, depending on how your hair is, the blow drying might be enough, but if not, use a curling iron, hot roller, or straightener to play with them until they get the way you want them. (You might also need to pin them with a bobby pin) You might end with a shine or glossing spray, and very little or no hairspray.

It's probably best not to brush your hair, but if you must, make sure the brush has bristles that are plastic and kind of far apart. Or better yet use a fat wide toothed comb. Also don't brush with hairspray in your hair, or it will be a mess. Just running your fingers through it is the best.

You have to strip the hair of color that you want to dye pink. Once it's stripped you can add the pink coloring. If you want to do streaks or highlights, the easiest way is with a highlighting cap. Strip the color, then rinse Once the color is gone ( usually 30-45 minutes for black hair), and add the pink all with the cap on.

if it isn't already, get some long layers cut into your hair around your face (you can even show the hairstylist the pictures)..then basically, I'd just use the 1 1/2 inch and make large curls in the front around your face. If they're too tight with the curling iron, you can either run your fingers through them or try rollers (but make sure they're large!) Hope this helps!

i would just try curling it with an iron or rollers, cause if you tell them you want that at the salon, they will give you a spiral perm and they never actually come out like that. my spiral perms curls were not loose at all, they looked horrible, it didnt get better until it started to fall out.

my regular hair color is medium brown. Its semi long, and i wanted to go to a stylist and have black tones spread through out my hair, like under tones, streaks. how do you think that would look on a guy? also im going to be a professional cellist/classical music preformer, would that hair style interfear and make me look unprofessional? and how do i explain what i want to a stylist? are there any pictures i could show them to give them an idea?

It is called lowlighting and it adds depth to your natural hair color. It depends on how light your natural hair color is, but if it isn't very dark I would have to say don't go with the black lowlights. You can go with a very dark brown though and it would look really nice.

It is really the opposite of highlighting. It adds color to your hair rather than removing pigment to make it lighter. It is done with the same procedure as highlights. The lowlights can be painted on freehand, done with foils or shells or the stylist can pull the hairs she wants to lowlight through a "frosting cap". I wouldn't recommend the cap really, it hurts and doesn't look as natural as a foil highlight/lowlight.

You could also opt for a combo highlight/lowlight procedure. Some strands would be lightened and others darkened, all mixed in with your natural haircolor. That can also look quite stunning.

If done correctly none of this should make you look unprofessional. I just wouldn't go with absolutely black lowlights, in most cases true black hair looks unnatural except for on the people who are born with it.

Well, i have long brown hair too and starting H.S. There is the usual half ponytail that's if u wanna save time in the morning. To make them better looking, you can even braid the sides then tie them. If you are looking for a new look everyday or every other day, try straightening or curling it sometimes. They never go out of style. U can even add some hair spray so that it can stay (i like it without cuz it looks much more natural, but either way it still looks nice!). Umm....parting ur hair on a side is great too, which is what i do . I'm gonna send u a link. just take a look at the girls on the side with their hiarstyles and u can look for some products too. Whats the name of this old kids tv show from late 80's.?

This show was shown here in Australia. Its about a young boy in school and he wants to start his own rock band up. The show is basically about him going to school and trying to get gigs for his cheesy band, they played at the school gym ect.

He has the hots for a girl and then gets her to sing along side him in the band. They were really bad at it, and to make it worse it was one of those shows where he "talked" to the camera (and quite often)..He has blonde hair and big lips.

My hair? And red face?

When I'm at cheer practice, naturally, I sweat, everyone does but I have two problems. My face seems to turn red like a tomato, especially when I do push ups, but it does it regardless of whether or not I do push ups. And my sweat seems to mostly affect my hair. It turns the front part of my hair wet, including my bangs. It's not attractive. Other people on the team don't seem to have either of these problems. Their hair stays perfectly dry and their faces aren't red at all. What can I do to fix these problems? And please don't tell me to google it because I tried googling and it wouldn't show me any results.

I have the same problem! My cheeks are red, even when i'm not doing anything. And when i get hot they get even redder. My hairline also gets wet when i sweat, and it makes my hair curl (i straighten it every day). Ya know, honestly I'm not sure what to do either...i just try to stay cool. But you have to pracice. So really i dont think there is anything you can do...just have to live with it i gues...and put your hair up. Hey at least we dont have to wear blush right!?

Give it some depth/texture by getting lots of different length layers. A good cut should pretty much style itself. I have the same kind of hair and I agree it's boring, but there are so many girls out there who spend like 2 hrs each morning straightening their hair to get our "boring" look, believe it or not. Wear it up in a messy bun more often and it'll seem less boring when you DO wear it down.

for about a year i have been dyeing my hair red w/ henna, and i like it and all but i want to grow it out because every few months my blonde roots show up....the only thing is that there is a major difference between the red and my dirty blonde hair and idk if i am willing to sacrifice a year of having ugly hair while i grow the henna out....has anyone had a similar experience? wat did u do?

Henna is a permanent hair dye and just like oth permanent hair dyes it is hard on your hair to have it removed.

You can fade it quite a bit with chorine/swimming pool and sunshine,

my recommendation is to let it grow out a bit, then cut it short.It would look cool with two tone hair for a bit, then you will be able to have your natural color completely a lot sooner.

Actually the only thing that you can do is to let it grow out. A salon can not remove a henna product because of the vegetable and mineral components of it. It will fry your hair if you try to use a remover. Henna color is extremely hard on the hair and is impossible to get ride of. Sorry to tell you the bad news....good luck

I have great lengths extensions...have had them for about a month now because my hair had to be chopped off about ear lengths and in layers due to a bad straightener that wrecked my hair that was once long and naturally curly. I am going on a cruise with about 36 friends in April (a month and a half from now). My extensions are thin, stringy, and curly. I have to wash them every morning, blow dry, and style (lots of brushing). About 7 or 8 hours later, they are back to stringy. My husband LOVES them and thinks I'm crazy. I only got the 8" so that's probably why they look stringy to me. They only go a little past my shoulders so the ends show real bad. I paid $750. My question is should I go ahead and get them taken out now and just get clip-ins for the cruise? Would clip ins work with short layered hair? Can you get clip-ins wet/swimming? Or, should I get them taken out and just sport my short cut which looks like hell when the wind catches it good?

Well if your husband love them then stay with the extensions. That's if you think they will hold up to swimming and the wind. If not just go with your short cut, get it styled just before you leave on your cruise. It should be a little longer by then. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Well i would keep them in for now if you take them out before you go on your vacation your gonna be misrible the whole time your there. id wait just be careful when you brush thats probally why they look so thin because of the brushing just take your time when you do it. anyway hope it helps
