i would just try curling it with an iron or rollers, cause if you tell them you want that at the salon, they will give you a spiral perm and they never actually come out like that. my spiral perms curls were not loose at all, they looked horrible, it didnt get better until it started to fall out.

you can get any kind of perm: loose curls, tight curls, or even a straight perm. But, my friend told me that, that goop that they put in your hair had some funky stuff in it
