Hair Issue?

I have been coloring my hair light strawberry blonde for the last 4 months and it is starting to become course and break off in some places...my roots have started to show and I am debating on whether or not go go back a light auburn brunette or stay a straberry blonde for winter? Help I need to make a choice for New Years. I have olive skin and green eyes and the blonde really does look nice.

Hair Issue?

If you are seeing a professional, your hair should not break off (if they are using good quality products). If you are doing it at home, that would explain the problem. See a professional at a reputable salon.

Go back to brunette, you don't want ruined hair, I have to say that when ever the roots are showing, you need to go back to your old ways.

light brown

Hair Issue?

well how often are you coloring your hair? it sounds like whatever you are doing is too harsh on your hair if it is breaking and becoming course. try doing some deep conditioning treatments before you color next. Try something like Garnier Fructise or Pantene Pro-V's deep conditioning formulas. If you like the blonde, go for it, but also remember you don't want to damage it too much, or you may regret it later....

Hair Issue?

If you decide to stay blonde, only color the roots. Your hair may be getting too dry if you have colored it often, and that is why it feels course and is breaking. Also, use a good conditioner that will restore some of the moisture.

You could always have brunette on toop and blonde underneath

try using shampoos and conditioners especially for blonde, not two in one shampoo and conditioners. And try finding styling products for blonde hair. I have a sheer shine type thing that smooths it.. and you may want to put treatments on it once a week.. you can get ones to leave in for 3 minutes or so :) hope that helps

well you wait always 6-9 weeks before putting dye on your hair.

and sometimes its best if you go get it done
