Since its been slow on YA lately, biscuit gave me a great idea when she posted her funny videos. I want you to post for me your favorite video. Either of you and your horse, or just favorite video in all. Could be funny, could be sad, could be a tribute to a horse or person. Show me what you got! Mine no other is my baby boy. If a animal can be a hero, he is certainly mine. Why you may ask, He was diagnosed with joint ill in his stifle. Weekly joint flushings, 4x's a day IV antibotics, surgery when he was a weanling, had a prognosis of being guarded and today hes sound and has been sound since he was a yearling. Oh, ignore my bad hair days and choice of clothing , lol

Awh Dave is so beautiful, you did a great job with him, he looks wonderful

EDIT-Thank you, It was so hard to let him go, but I knew his knew owners would love him as much as I did. He needed a better rider to show him his job and I needed a less greener horse, one that I would beable to show next year.

Awwwwww!!! That is such a touching story! You are really blessed to have a great survivor like that and to love him that much! I love ridding horses, but my mom doesn't approve of it, so I haven't ridden in a year and every time I ask her when I can ride again, she changes the subject : ( Oh well. My hero is one we have all heard of and we miss greatly. Here is a video of him, but I didn't make it. Enjoy! =D

I think he and you are both amazing, his story brought a tear to my eye. I nearly homed a youngster with joint ill but the owner cut her losses and had him put to sleep it broke my heart then and still raw 5 years on!
