Dying over bright pink hair???

Okay, so my friend and I bleached our hair, and colored those parts bright atomic pink.

We are wanting to dye it back to our natural color. We were going to get Color Oops and take out the pink, but no local stores sell it. We tried baking soda, but it did not help.

So, now we are wondering if dying over the pink will look strange, or if the pink will even show up? Or are there any other at home techniques to get rid of the coloring? (Our hair colours are a darker red and medium brown.) Thank you so much!

Salon is the best most effective way to get it done. Your hair will need to be bleached again, you can't just dye over the color. Your hair will be very damaged after you get done with it, so deep condition it, and leave it alone for awhile.

I would go to a slaon to get it fixed. They have all the products there to strip or cover up the pink and to return it back to your natural color.

you will need to buy a color that has warmth in it not a plain brown it has to have some red in it or your hair will go green when did you color your hair if you are willin to leave the pink for a bit it will really fade out, these bright colors dont last very long you will not get rid completly though you wil still need to dye over it so if you wanting to dye it your self try give your hair a couple days rest from the coloring as you have just put 2 colors on then buy your self a warm brown reasonably dark too, get a semi it is not as harsh on your hair as permanent you will find the color you put on fades fast u will just need to keep coloring it prob every 1/2wksfor a bit til you get a buld up of color this is why i suggest semi permanet the 24 wash one, permanent will not stay in your hair any better than a semi good luck
