i was going to use lemons to lighten up my hair and then add in the blond but i don't know when i'll have time to sit out in the sun for 5 hours!

(i'm asking because on the box it doesn't show how it will come out, instead it says "not recommended" )

it won't get that light unless you do it at the salon with PROFESSIONAL bleach. don't go out and try to use like, store bought bleach. no. it'll fry your hair and it will look bad.

that color will probably turn your dark hair orange. i wouldn't reccomend using it.

well. if you've never colored your hair, it might turn it to a dirty blonde. but definitely not as blonde as on the box. and if you've dyed your hair before, then it will be more difficult. instead, it will lighten it a little and maybe have a little bit of blonde in it.

Is it bleach? If its not, you're not going to see any results. Don't try to go extreme on highlights, the high contrast ones are really out now. Instead, give your hair a lot of different tones that are similar to your own hair color.

agreed, dont home dye, will go orange, or brassy. Any hairdresser will tell you that you have to fase to blonde, they will make you hair lighter in something like three stages until it is blonde...I had it done in one go...and the result was BAD

Don't do it! This product does nnot have enough lifting power to get you from that dark to that light. You will end up with orange hair. You really need to see a professional if you want to make such a drastic change. It may take several processes to get you that blonde, and then it still may be brassy and then you may need a toner. You will have to use beach with a high volume developer and you can't get that at a drug store. Trust me...get a professional opinion!
